Located in Vaiuru, 100 metres from the waterfront, Pension Vaimano-Raivavae offers authentic Polynesian accommodation with a terrace. Guests enjoy traditional, French and local cuisine on-site. We had a magical stay at Pension Vaimano with Clarisse. We are so happy we chose this location to stay on the island. The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable. What we enjoyed the most were the delicious breakfast and dinners when we really got to learn more about the culture and island from Clarisse. The motu trips were just a dream - the water, the beach and the lunch cooked right on the motu with everything from the land — fresh fish and fruits! Don’t miss the hike to Mount Hiro either. Raivavae is a very special and untouched place and staying at Pension Vaimano was the most authentic way to experience it. This trip was transformative for us and really touched our hearts.
