Situated on the Lofoten island of Tjuvøya, this modern hotel offers international and regional cuisine, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with cable channels. Good breakfast & excellent location for those traveling by ferry to the island. It is on the opposite end of the island from the airport, however, & a little too far for my older mother to walk with luggage after an evening flight. There is no taxi service but luckily we were able to arrange for a pick-up with the hotel.

The hotel is the first from the port, which is great when you don't have a car.

You can drive directly to the house with a 4x4 suv Henrik from the team did a absolutely fantastic job with supporting us around the time with the small hurricane. He did really great!

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

Situated in the coastal village of Å in the Lofoten Archipelago, this inn offers traditional Norwegian fisherman's cabins. The E10 highway is 500 metres away. The Rorbuer is ideally located. The staff was very nice & eager to help. The living room was cosy and authentic.
