The staff are very friendly. The place is gorgeous. Like a luxury hotel but so very reasonable. It’s a little away from the other hotels, but that’s good because it’s quiet. Room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water too for the shower. The tour was excellent, we learned so much from Kong. He is a brilliant guide.

The guesthouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area, slightly off center. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from if you walk for 10-15 min. The owner, Mr. Abay personally picked me up from the airport. He also took me (and a couple other guests) on a guided tour of the Plain of Jars (which I'd highly recommend). He also gave me plates, spoons and forks for food I had picked up at the local market. Mr. Khay at the front desk is eagerto help, should you need anything. My room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Wifi was surprisingly good. The staff was sweet and always greet you with a smile. Wish I could have stayed longer.
