Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

There is only 1 main accommodation area and the house has high roof, so it feels very open and spacious for me. Well ventilated with plenty of fresh air and natural light. I loved the feel of a wooden Japanese house. Everything was very clean and cozy. Loved the outdoor kitchen, lovely outdoor cooking experience; and outdoor areas, makes it easy to dry up after a rainy hiking day. The home is well equipped with racks and amenities (washing clothes, cooking). The host was so warm and caring, she checked in with you to provide necessary information on getting around and visiting Yakushima. Ask her about the meaning of the name Tomarigi, it’s very sweet. Thank you so much for my comfortable and close-to-nature stay, I had an amazing time!

Yakushima Pension Ichigoichie er 3 stjörnu gististaður í Yakushima, 25 km frá Yakusugi Land. Garður er til staðar. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 20 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo. The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.

Yakushima Cottage Kukai er staðsett í Yakushima og er aðeins 18 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo. Boðið er upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The owner of the hotel was very hospitable. Ecquiped with Google translator and brought me late at night to grocery shop! Such a lovely plave in the nature. Recommended!!

Situated in Tabugawa, 15 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo and 29 km from Yakusugi Land, 新築貸切 屋久島の地杉香る 完全貸切別荘 家族やグループでの利用にぴったり offers air conditioning. Every tiny details were taken care of here. It was amazing.

Á Cottage Morinokokage geta gestir leigt sumarbústað með hengirúmi. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á herbergjunum. There was a shoe dryer and a melody device near the toilet for the privacy. It also had a massaging device and the shared laundry was free of charge. The blankets were warm. There was a shared room with vending machines for drinks and one machine for quick meals. It had microwave and a toaster. The host was friendly and they let us check in 1 hour earlier. Towels were provided for each day of our stay, also toothbrushes with a tiny paste, hygiene products and sponges. The bathroom was awesome and I loved the body soap, shampoo, and a conditioner that was provided. It was easy to find the facility from the road, as it has clear signs of where to turn. A large grocery store Ban Chan was 4 minutes drive away.

Yakushima Minsyuku Suginoko er gististaður með garði í Yakushima, 18 km frá Yakusugi Land, 26 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og 29 km frá Jomon Sugi. Close to Anbo Port and restaurants (about a 25-35 minute walk if you don’t have a car). Bus stops conveniently located for trips to Jomon Sugi & YakusugiLand. Ask host or information centre for times and locations. Friendly staff. I recommend at least 3 full days in Yakushima.

SAKURA YAKUSHIMA er staðsett í Yakushima og státar af gufubaði. Gististaðurinn er 13 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og býður upp á garð.
