There is also a very good restaurant very close. The accommodation was very clean and nicely equipped, we had everything we needed.

But remember you have to drive 46 km by gravel road to get there. We drove a city car Ford Fiesta (without 4x4) and we've done it! Going there by such a car, you should count around 1,5 h one way. But with these views and sense that you are in the middle of nowhere, it was such a positive thrilled adventure :) For us this town Djúpavík with a Hotel Djúpavík was the best thing, which we came across in the whole Western Fiords. Definitely worth visiting!!

We always choose this place when we come .There is also a nice pool not too far...one of the best.

We loved this beautifully spacious, well maintained cottage. The kitchen was great. The hot tub was lovey to relax in on our arrival. The owners had it full for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

Great views - you can spend a quite and relaxing evening in the outside hot tub. Keys waited for us in a locked safebox at the door - we never met the hosts (no need) - we were free to arrive at our own time schedule
