Terrific people who went out of their way to make my stay an enjoyable one. I stayed in four other inns during this trip, and my stay at The Poacher was, by far, the nicest.

Amazing English pub with beautifully appointed rooms that maintained their charm. Room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom was large with all the products you would need. Excellent tea, coffee, water, chocolates and a nip of gin! The breakfast was great - eggs Benedict one day and avocado on toast the next.

Jane Austen's House Museum se nachází jen 19 km odtud. brilliant location in the pretty peaceful village, with a close walk to the local pub which serves great food and has nice large garden with playground for kids. The annex had all we needed and the hosts were lovely when we met them, and very helpful with all we needed. we'd definitely stay here again.

Basingstoke Country Hotel & Spa has a peaceful yet convenient location in beautiful undulating countryside, close to the A30 and with easy access to the M3 motorway. The manager’s service was beyond my expectations. Went out if his way to provide me with a lovely room that was so comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. He went above and beyond on a very busy night due to Ascot races patrons booking in. I really appreciated the care, friendliness and service provided by all of the staff while I waited for my room. I had a late checkout and the quiet and peace was amazing! The grounds were lovely and obviously the whole hotel is being taken care of and refurbished so nicely! Even the security guys were helpful and very friendly. I would love to stay there again. It has history and elegance if it’s time. Absolutely loved my stay. Hotel Raven se nachází u vlakového nádraží Hook Train Station (40 minut trvá cesta na Waterloo) a 0,8 km od M3. Friendly welcome and upgrade to a double room for more space at same price set the tone of an enjoyable stay. The associated pub was a friendly environment to spend the evening and did excellent evening meals and breakfasts. Will definately look out for Green King hotels again.
