Un oras pitoresc cu o oferta culturala de exceptie: muzee...
Un oras pitoresc cu o oferta culturala de exceptie: muzee (al vinului, vitraliilor, al artelor frumoase s.a.). Catedrala St Gatien in stil gotic flamboaiant, Bazilica St Martin in stil neo-bizantin, o constructie mai noua, de secol 19, ce venereaza sfantul. La Biserica St Julien, artistul Marcoville si-a adus exponatele (Fecioara Maria in diverse ipostaze, ingeri si pesti), intruchipand Paradisul. Expozitia, intitulata Luminile celeste, poate fi vizionata pana pe data de 22 septembrie 2019. Oras cu gradini si parcuri (un cedru urias, plantat acum peste doua sute de ani in gradina Muzeului de Arte Frumoase, atrage atentia). Cartierul vechi este animat si reprezinta o zona extrem de pitoreasca. Terase numeroase te invita sa servesti masa si sa petreci clipe placute. Tours este un oras care merita vizitat.

Orasul Tours a fost o surpriza placuta pentru mine,nu ma asteptam sa fie atit de mare si cu activitati variate. Ai ce face cîteva zile,este așezat cam la mijloc pentru vizitarea castelelor de pe valea Loirei. Ce nu mi-a placut ,faptul ca multe restaurante inchideau in jurul ore 14,30 si deschideau dupa 19-19,30
