Everything was ok. The gues so kind and ready to our requests. We felt like we were at home. The place is near to one of my favorite place in Zante : Porto Roxa. We stayed at Vorto House for 10 days in July 2022. It's a pleasant, cozy, spotlessly clean place with a very nice courtyard, where one can hang out in the shade during the heat of the day and cool off under the stars at night. Iannis, the owner is a wonderful host, with a great style and great stories of his 200-year old house. Xristina, the lady who comes over every second day to clean up and make the beds is also a very nice, helpful person. We loved the village, Agios Leon as well, paying daily visits to the loveliest family-run cafe down the road (with the inimitable Diamantina in charge), the neighboring bakery, and the minimarket run by an affable Greek-Canadian. Admittedly, the village is not exactly close to the more popular areas of the island, but having rented a car, this has caused us no trouble, and we loved the beaches nearby.
