Wonderful and practical apartment near the center of Fontainebleau. Very tidy and clean, fully functional and well equipped kitchen. Good quality beds in both rooms, we slept very well. Clean and practical bathroom. Nice and quiet location with free parking close by. 300m from a Carrefour supermarket. Hostess extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice experience overall.

The main restaurant district is also very close by. Whilst it is on a moderately busy street the bedrooms are located to the rear so traffic noise isn't an issue. The apartment itself is spacious and very well equipped. This is a by any standards a luxury property. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again

But in addition to that, the hotel has a very innocent village atmosphere. Pleasant. Simple and light room décor. Very relaxing. Dining room is very cozy and with a great view to the Château. The staff, which I guess are the owners, were very nice. The breakfast lacked a bit of variety, but was in a good quality. I liked the smoked salmon and the baked food like bread and croissants were delicious.

The location is excellent just 100 metres or so from the chateau and centre villages. The Josephine Room that we booked was spectacular with beautiful wooden beams a very comfortable bed and a well equipped and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this superb B&B if visiting Fountainebleau.
