Absolutely an oasis in the centre of Cagliari. The staff were fantastic. The restaurant is a gem. Breakfast is far beyond what you expect to be included and dinner at the restaurant with wine pairings was some one of the best meals I've ever eaten, and I've sampled a lot of michelin stars. The location is perfect for shopping/eating and seeing the sights. The gardens are a peaceful reprieve from the city.

The Sardinian capital, Cagliari has a historic old town, busy port and one of the island’s best beaches. The sweeping stretch of sand at Poetto has great summer nightlife, and just inland is Molentargius lagoon, where flamingos nest against the backdrop of the city.
Cagliari is spread over a small hill and the oldest part – Quartiere Castello – lies at the top. There are far-reaching views from Bastion San Remy, its main entrance point. Medieval city walls lead from here to the simple cathedral, and nearby is the 18th-century Palazzo Regio.
By one of the original city gates is the National Archaeological Museum, housing a collection of Phoenician and Roman artifacts from the city’s Tuvixeddu Necropolis. There are also displays of the nuraghic civilization whose former dwellings pepper Sardinia. The most impressive is Su Nuraxi north of Cagliari.
Just outside the walls are remains of a Roman amphitheater, next to the university botanical gardens. Orange tree-lined streets descend the hill towards the seafront where restaurants and bars can be found. Cagliari FC play at Sant’Elia Stadium along the coast and opposite is the Sardinia International Fair, an important conference venue.
Booking.com’s Cagliari accommodations includes luxury hotels with pools, B&Bs by the train station and cheap guesthouses near Elmas Airport.
I liked the antiquity and history. We also visited the Museum of Archeology, a definite must. The sights in Cagliari, the narrow streets and the little train that one can ride for a minimal fee.
The shop, cafe and restaurant servers were all gracious and nice, very friendly.

Weather was not nice, so we cannot really use the beaches or go the mountain (to much windy), but center and close surroundings of Cagliari are nice, wonderful views, walking in small streets. We recommend to take bus Nr.7, which is circular line. How the driver is driving thru small streets - respect. In any case is better for stay in the city to use buses - it'smore practical and ecological, cheap and good service, parking is anyway difficult.

Excellent small town, which is very pleasant to walk around, enjoy the architecture and food. In general, there is not much to do in it, except to spend time by the sea and on the beaches. 3 days is fully enough to see all parts of the city.

Loads of walking up.and down hills and stairs. Easy to get around and all nearby. Loved the narrow streets and Marina. Great cycling tour of the city to Poetta beach. The Botanical Gardens were fantastic - well worth the visit. The public civic gardens were lovely and so well maintained by the hard working crew. Also the art gallery at the end of it was small but beautiful.

A truly Mediterranean city, warm and full of life and positive vibes. It's history and culture deserve much more respect than it actually receives. Some spots are neglected (particularly Bastione San Remi), the roads are not in the best shape and overall there is a sense of neglect. Luckily the locals with their helpful attitude make up for the minuses which most probably are created by the local authorities.
The b&b was small and charming with 3 guest rooms and a very personal touch. The house was built onto a 14th century wall so it also felt historic and genuinely Sardinian. The host Giovanni was super friendly and helpful, and lovely Arianna served us coffee every morning with an abundant breakfast of fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, charcuterie, buns and Sardinian sweets. The location was perfect! Everything was just a few steps outside of the entrance, and we would highly recommend this inn if you like a more personal intimate experience.
My host and the owner of the property-Tiziana was amazing! She was extremely accommodating. Not only did she allow me to check in a bit earlier, but she also provided me with a generous breakfast during my 5-day stay. Upon my arrival, she met with me at the property and also shared with me her extensive knowledge of the local attractions along with some great tips for local food, restaurant recommendations and transportation. All I can say is that I'll definitely book her place again when I return to Sardegna! Grazie Tiziana!
During our trip in Sardegna, we booked this place to spend the night in Cagliari, and we were extremely pleased with it. The check-in is fast, easy and convenient. The room was very clean, comfy and well located. You can walk to the historic center, the castello and other points of interest. The host is helpful and communicates clearly all the information you need. We didn't take the breakfast as we left early in the morning, but we appreciated the water fountain. I strongly recommend.
Close to the centre of Cagliari- 20 minute walk or you could catch the bus
Check in was very simple- all instructions were sent prior to check in, even with videos of how to access the apartment.
The property was very clean and the room was a very good size with a lovely en-suite
The breakfast was just a short walk away from the hotel where an Italian style breakfast was served e.g coffee and croissant (which was amazing!)
Would highly recommend this B&B
The location is perfect. It's at the start of the old town with many bars and restaurants. Walking distance to the train station and close to the airport. Many buses across the street. To Poetto beach it's 15 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. Many choices with good quality food. The rooms are all decorated differently by artists which makes the look and feel different than your typical hotel. Although it's in the heart of the city the rooms are very quiet.
Ada was a fantastic host, with lots of great tips and information for our stay in Cagliari.
The breakfasts were amazing with Ada providing special Sardinian treats each day including my favourite - Tiramisu!
The rooms were clean and tidy (cleaned each day).
The bed was very comfortable.
Tea, coffee and cold water were always available in the kitchen.
There was free parking outside the property.
thanks for a great stay!
Great location - in the center of Cagliari, our first time staying in an apartment format - and we loved everything. very, very clean. thanks to Klaudia for helping me book a taxi to the airport at night (in Sardinia you don't always have to rely on Uber))). Around a lot of restaurants, you can not bother with cooking, although the object provides such an opportunity.
Simona was the most amazing host. She brought us Sardinian sweets and breakfast that lasted for days. Additionally, there was a lot of food/drinks in the apartment itself. She gave us detailed information about Cagliari and where we can find good restaurants and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend staying at her apartment.
Such a beautiful apartment with perfect little details everywhere. Roberta went above and beyond to make us feel at home and provided very helpful information for our stay. The breakfast was wonderful and it was a perfect welcome to Cagliari and our first time in Sardinia. Couldn't recommend it enough!
Our final night of a week in Sardinia and the location of this hotel on the beach was great, all within a short bus trip of Cagliari. The neighbouring restaurant for dinner was very good (fantastic tuna) and the water as crystal clear as everywhere else in Sardinia. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The first lady during my check-in was the nicest and kindest person that i have met in Italy! I really felt a real warm welcome to Sardegna!
The location was perfect, it was just a few steps to everywhere!
They have also upgraded my room to a bigger one for free.
We stayed for the first two nights in Sardinia. Andrea was very welcoming and had plenty of good recommendations for dinner and other activities. Snacks and the coffee machine in the room were another nice to have. Big parking space right in front of the location.
We liked almost everything. Very nice modern hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Nice staff, very good facilities. The bar is great, nice cocktails. The only real 4-star hotel we stayed in during our 10 day-long holiday in Sardinia.
Easy to access location. Loved the nearby botanical garden. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Very nice shower. The breakfast was the best one we had in Sardinia. The staff were very helpful. The gardens lovely. Overall, superb accommodation!
The accommodation is really beautiful and authentic. You feel like you are part of Sardinia. For those who want to experience the original Cagliari.
It is very clean and the host has thought of everything.
I will definitely come again.
This was the most perfect place to stay - the room is stunning and the hosts are the most lovely and supportive people. Highly recommend this property and will be staying again if we return to Sardinia!
Location was perfect, close to all the good restaurants of Cagliari. 5 minutes from the train/bus station, 5 minutes from the harbor. 15 minutes with a taxi to the airport wich costed 20 euro's.
Everything was perfect!! Ada is the perfect host
! Her attention to details is absolutely amazing! The best breakfast we had in Sardinia, different each morning :)
Very cute room in a phenomenal location. Close to Piazza Yenne and the Bastione for beautiful walks through the city. A great way to start our trip to Sardinia.
