The breakfast was delicious (we went for the the vegetarian breakfast, but the meat options all looked good), the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice, with a good coffee machine and good selection of teas. The water pressure in the shower was also excellent.

This was a great hotel - unusual and quirky - with fantastic service from all members of staff.
The food was excellent, especially the evening meal.
A really delightful place to spend a couple of nights.
The food was delicious, we ate at the hotel restaurant both nights and in particular the scallops were probably the best I’ve ever tasted.
The staff were really helpful, we had some issues with our room since the heating wasn’t working and members of the team were trying within their means to help by providing complimentary hot drinks to our room.
Evening meal expensive for what it was and poor portions.
Buffet breakfast ok, we didn’t have the cooked breakfast as the evening meal put us off.
Must say though the majority of the staff very friendly and pleasant throughout the hotel.
Great location - stunning pub/restaurant and country hotel - great romantic treat!
We had a large room with a huge walk in shower and tub in the bedroom-beautiful decor throughout 😄
Staff superb- all friendly chatty and helpful🙏
Bedroom was lovely, large, comfortable with an excellent bed. Staff were great, very well managed hotel. Fantastic value for money. Building is lovely, very well decorated. One of the best hotels we have stayed in in England.
The Double Red Duke is a gorgeous and delightful inn with warm, helpful personnel and a fabulous kitchen. Located at a quiet crossroads in the village of Clanfield in the Cotswolds, you can get anywhere in the area quickly.
The staff were really helpful, attentive, efficient and cheerful. The setting was gorgeous and the interiors of the hotel were beautiful and stylish. Loved everything about it. Delicious food and amazing wine list as well.
Happy, friendly and energetic staff, very welcoming and friendly.

Large, comfortable and well appointed bedroom.
Great hidden hotel in a little village. Food was superb 5 starts, one must have dinner at this Hotel a real gourmet food. rooms were big, bathrooms real antiques but beautiful.
The staff are incredible, especially Flossy on the front Desk, not only does she make you feel so special but not task is too big! She is amazing and the hotel is so special
Great time at the Double Red Duke - we have stayed in other hotels that were done up by the same team and they always live up to expectations.
