They start room service very early - even at 7 am, so it's quite noisy. Cleaning rooms also starts early - once we were woken up by room service (before 9 am) - its the first hotel we experienced such thing.

The location is absolutely excellent for first time visiting - you can reach most of sights by foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious. Rooms are very nicely decorated (plus we had room on the 3rd floor with amazing view on the sea!)

The location and the staff. The location was great, it was walking distance to many attractions and opposite the hotel was a little bakery that sold amazing turkish bread. A little further up the street was a store that had sim cards/wine. The staff gave us an upgrade and there were 5 of us travelling, they were helpful and extremely friendly.

Only thing I could fault was there were no tissue boxes in the rooms and I didn't like the spring loaded bathroom doors which shuts very loudly.

Loved everything. My friends and I all got upgrades as we were warmly greeted by the manager and staff. I looked forward to showering every day as the shower pressure was soooo good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel location was fantastic. Bakery right opposite the hotel with fresh hot pastries daily, shop a few doors down run by Arun who helped us with SIM cards, alcohol and snacks and only a few minutes walk the 2 of Istanbul's famous mosques. The staff at FourG were fantastic! Would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was fantastic - great size and very modern. Hotel in a perfect location and very central. The guys provided us with excellent recommendations of where to visit. Our room was upgraded free of charge to a nicer room which happened to be available. Breakfast also brilliant with tonnes of choice. We felt so welcomed and really looked after. Highly recommend and would love to come back here!

Can't think any that we didn't like.

The hotel was in the exact at the right place where it should be. All attractions are just within few minutes walk. Team of the hotel? Wow.. So nice and friendly and I haven't heard them saying "NO" to any request. Kadir, Aykut, Jalaluddin and Mehmet, all of them are just so careful about customer service. They know what it means make a customer happy. I am glad to choose this hotel and we (my wife and I) are going to stay at this hotel every time we visit Türkiye.. There was a little street noise late at night ( traffic), and being woken by the call to prayer in the early hours wasn't great, but I'm not blaming the hotel for this! ;) Breakfast didn't start until 8.30am. Perhaps this is normal in Turkey,, I don't know, but we would have liked to have got up and out earlier.

The staff were brilliant and did everything to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible - we could not fault them, or their lovely hotel ( e.g. they arranged taxi transfers for us, welcomed us warmly with Turkish tea, provided water, helpful information, reserved tickets for us - you name it, they offered it. And always with a friendly smile.) The breakfasts included an amazing array of all sorts of delights, and again were served by lovely staff. We had to leave before breakfast on our last day, but staff prepared a packed lunch for us to take to the airport. I loved the shower, the beds were comfy, the air con useful. The hotel was just a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Haghia Sohia etc All in all, a great stay.

The WiFi struggled at times and we visited on a cold and cloudy weekend so the solar powered hot water let us down a little on one day.

This hotel sums up the best of Turkish. Super friendly staff (shout out especially to Jelal and Mehmet on that front). Well run and beautifully clean and tidy. The breakfast was far better than expected and well above normal continental standards elsewhere. The location could not be better for the old town attractions.

Everything was amazing. Firstly, we reserved smaller room, but we got a bigger one without any extra charge. Staff was amazing. We had a very warm welcome by receptionist. While drinking a tea, he was explaining us the main city attractions and he offered any kind of help. Breakfast was amazing too and we got surprised by fresh food waiting for us on our last day. On my next trip to Istanbul, I will definitely stay here again!

Excellent location, near from Aya Sofia and the tram..surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops, the rooms are very clean, new and comfortable mattress, we didn't feel the cold weather..it was warm, there were plenty of options to eat from for breakfast, the lady who prepares the food makes the best chocolate cake you can ever taste..she greets you everyday with a welcoming smile, all the staff are so nice and so welcoming..even if you come in summer they have AC in the rooms so this hotel is one of the best choices..

The hospitality of the people at this hotel was excellent. Initially we had booked a family room on the ground floor but they upgraded us to a Sea view room on the third floor free of charge. They were very considerate and gave us a free bottle of water at reception when we left each morning. (Even though they also left a new bottle of water in our room every day). They also gave us information on good restaurants in the hotel vicinity and made reservations on our behalf. The hotel was in a very convenient location, walking distance to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, which was great for sightseeing. We will come back here again!

What a lovely and homely place to be. They welcomed us with love and throughout our stay they endured that we were comfortable and felt at home. The personalized thank you note that we found in our room before we checkout was heart warming. My daughter's said they will keep it as one of travelling memoirs.
