We had an absolutely fantastic stay! This trip was a special celebration for my birthday, and I was thrilled by the wonderful surprise in my room. The decorations and thoughtful touches made it so memorable. The staff were exceptional in every way. Babis, Anna, and Stavros went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience. Efthimios also was very helpful. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly remarkable, making us feel incredibly welcome and valued. The hotel itself was beautiful, with excellent facilities and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Every detail was taken care of, from the pristine cleanliness of our room to the delicious meals we enjoyed. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday trip. No. 15 Ermou Hotel is located within walking distance of the waterfront and near many wonderful places to eat and shop. It is also within walking distance of the Roman forum. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to offer advice about good restaurants and parking. Parking was available in a lot a few blocks away ($10 Euro/p/day) or cars can be registered (through the hotel) for parking on the street (fees apply during the day and free at night).

The breakfast buffet was very good when the staff actually replenished it which didn’t happen most of the days we stayed. Only 1 staff member appeared to be working the breakfast room to include cleaning & resetting tables as well as restocking the buffet. Getting replacements for bread, juice, cheese, yogurt, fruit was almost impossible. This was especially true 4 of the 5 days we stayed. The room needed at least 2 people working in the room.

For our purposes the location was very good as we could walk to all the sites we planned to see in the city. Staff was very helpful & gave us water or extra towels whenever we asked for them as well as leaving 2 bottles of water in our room almost every day.

I don't understand who gave a "5-star" rating to the hotel. I stayed in 5-star hotels in the past... this is more like a 3-star rating. We had a problem with the water - for some reason, the cold water was turning hot after a few seconds. So you can imagine it was difficult to brush your teeth or take a shower with warm (and not water) - we did complain to the reception but it didn't really help unfortunately. A small compensation would have been welcome but none were provided (even on the day we left). Also, we ask for a quiet room and were told that "all the rooms are quiet". Unfortunately, this was not the case. We were on the third floor, facing the street (Ermou) and it could get quite busy/noisy (even at night) and you can definitely hear cars, honking, motorcycle during the night (sound insulation could be much better). Also, there were no shelves in the room (unless you're tall enough - it's good we are used to travel light.

Nicely located and the staff was helpful and courteous. The hotel is in the city center, with access to many restaurants and shops. There are also bus stations and grocery stores within minutes. The room was ok - quite small, simple but functional and clean. We purchased a breakfast for one day and it was good and copious.

Very nice friendly staff at reception desk and at breakfast. Hotel is in an excellent location, could easily walk to everything. The room and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of great restaurants close by.
