It's a hidden gem located close to the ocean, quiet except for sounds of waves in the distance. The rooms are not rooms but small apartment style lodgings with everything needed if cooking's your thing. Andre at reception is one of the friendliest who's passionate about providing information of where to go and what to do. I can easily recommend ANC Resort to any traveller!

Located in the São Miguel Island of the Azores archipelago, the Caloura Hotel Resort is inserted on a protected natural area and features direct access to the sea and natural volcanic pools. Beautiful, clean..the front desk clerk Rogério was extremely friendly, helpful, courteous, and efficient. Very nice young man.

Located on Pico Island in the Azores, this resort looks like a village of stone houses and local plants. The owners and staff very accessible and helpful. Having stayed many times over the last 15 years, I brought my friends this time. In town-convenient by walking. Great views. Laundry service. Studio with kitchen upgrade. Camilo’s shop nearby. Hot water. Clean.
