While we were unable to enjoy the property walk due to rain it sounds lovely! it was a 2 minute drive to the reserve as well as the Waitomo Caves.

Waitomo Retreat has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Hangatiki, 10 km from Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. The property is perfectly located 10 min by car from the Waitomo Glowworm. The communication with the host is extremely smooth. We were also very positively surprised by the food in the fridge, which saved us a trip to a supermarket and a trip to a cafe in the morning for breakfast. Really appreciate it as we are traveling with a young child and this helped a lot!
