El A Place in the Paddock se encuentra en Matamata y ofrece un jardín. Los huéspedes de esta casa tienen acceso a una cocina totalmente equipada y una terraza. A Place in the Paddock was lovely! The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)

Hills Vista Lodge, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, ofrece alojamiento con patio y hervidor a unos 33 km de Centro de Convenciones Mystery Creek. Todo! Es el mejor sitio en el que hemos dormido durante todo el viaje y en todo el país. El desayuno buenísimo y muy variado. Los dueños super amigables y muy simpáticos. Su perrito y gatito son adorables. Muy recomendable!!! Y a 5 min en coche de Hobbiton!!! No se puede pedir mas! Todo era muy bonito, parecía muy limpio, decorado con mucho gusto y parecía todo muy nuevo!!!:)

El Walnut Lodge B&B ofrece alojamiento en Matamata. Las habitaciones de este bed and breakfast disponen de aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana. Our hosts were wonderful. Friendly but let us hav our space and so helpful even giving us a lift into town for our event so we didn't have to drive in and could relax and enjoy the night. The breakfast delivered each afternoon for the next day swas simple but really nice.

El Central Motor Lodge se encuentra en la calle principal de Morrinsville, a 250 metros de tiendas, restaurantes y bares. This motel would be one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at. So nice to stay

El The Nunnery es un establecimiento construido en 1977 situado en el centro de Te Aroha que ofrece un salón común y un patio compartido con zona de barbacoa. Denise fue muy amable y en todo momento se preocupó por cómo estábamos. La zona es muy tranquila y el alojamiento tiene un jardín y terraza ideales para relajarse. Nos explico cómo usar la barbacoa y nos dejó instrumentos extra para usarla.
