Located in New Plymouth town centre, King and Queen Hotel Suites offer luxurious accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a 42-inch plasma TV with cable channels. Great central location with lots of options available for restaurants and shopping within minutes walking distance of the hotel, even gave us a book of discount vouchers to use at the local restaurants. Loved the addition of the lolly dispenser located in the foyer in the evenings with free lollies available! Nice touch!

Set within Egmont National Park, Stratford Mountain House offers a sauna, a restaurant and rooms with a spa bath. This is a great place to stay in the area. The room was very clean and the king size bed with high quality linens provided excellent rest. Comfortable bathroom completes the package. The onsite restaurant offers great food (salmon egg benedict was so tasty). The hotel is managed by great couple who take genuine interest in your needs and are ready to help. The staff were great and very helpful with unexpected level of attention to details. Highly recommended!

The Devon Hotel and Conference Centre boasts a buffet restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free use of mountain bikes. The property offers free on-site parking and free WiFi. We liked the Devon Hotel. There was a dirty towel on the back of our bathroom door and a dirty coffee cup in our cabinet. Otherwise the room was very clean and quiet! We thought it was a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect for getting to the beach.

The whimsical decorating in the hotel matches the general atmosphere of New Plymouth. The location is conveniently located in the city center with plenty of dining options nearby. This also serves as a nice base for exploring the Egmont National Park and other nearby beaches. Luke was incredibly knowledgeable and was happy to assist with my questions, The hotel has free private parking nearby. Keep in mind that all rooms are located on the second floor and the hotel does not have elevators. This was well-advertised on the booking, but it deserves emphasizing.
