Brakanes Hotel is located on the shores of the Hardanger Fjord in Ulvik. The hotel restaurant features a buffet and a la carte menu of local dishes. Free WiFi is included. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

Ez a családi tulajdonban lévő szálloda a Hardangerfjord mellett található, 5 perces sétára Ulvik falutól. Nice breakfast and many facilities, as table tennis and games for every age. The room and the bathroom were confortable and our room had a very nice terrace. We appreciated the staff; they were very friendly and kind.

Az 1891-ben épült Fossli Hotel többek között a híres norvég zeneszerzőt, Edvard Grieg-et is rendszeres vendégének mondhatta. Food was great, both breakfast and dinner. View was amazing. Rooms were very clean. The place is exceptionally well located. The perfect spot. The building has so much character. You feel the history and it is very special.
