Convenient for Riga which is about 45 min by car but felt like you were in middle of nowhere. Wood fired hot tub and sauna were brill - we loved them!! Latvia is a beautiful country and this mirror house is 10/10!!!

The owners are the nicest and most helpful people. A pond you can swim in, a place for a bonfire, streetball court, football pitch, volleyball court, barbecue and plenty of space outside for kids to run around and take turns to use the slide. House itself is very spacious, even for larger groups. Cleaned to a high standart and kitchen well equipped. Spacious Sauna that we did not get a chance to use but looked amazing. Bedrooms are comfortable and supplied with everything you need. The owners have put a lot of work in this place and this can be seen, with great attention to every detail. This place was the highlight to our trip to Latvia and i highly suggest Kaķumuiža to everyone.

There was a coffee machine and a washing machine, the bathroom was well stocked. We asked for twin beds intead of the double bed and the host was really friendly and accomodating, knew how to speak english well. The interior design was really beutiful! As we arrived we were greeted by the dog Hanna and in the morning a really lovely cat.
