Surrounded by forests, Cocoon Hotel La Rive is located on the banks of Sauer River at the foot of Bourscheid Castle. What a lovely hotel. The location is beautiful, right on the river below Bourscheid castle. The staff we very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed in room 132, it doesn't look directly out onto the river but you can see the castle from your window which was nice. It is next to the day spa but we were not disturbed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the shower is a little small. The bathroom provides nice smelling shower wash and basic toiletries. We dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chef. They provide a good selection of fresh hot & cold food for breakfast. There is a small gym and saunas in the spa area and a giant chest board outside. There is an outside terrace and comfortable seating by the river. I wish we had stayed longer. It is such a relaxing environment and you can really enjoy nature. Free parking. You can walk up to the castle if you are fit otherwise just jump in your car. A must stay

Great food, wonderful service, and amazing view. A place to help slow down. Off the beaten path. If not in healthy condition a car is definitely needed to go places.

Set in the heart of the Oesling Region, this 4-star hotel offers spacious rooms with free WiFi. It has a fine-dining restaurant and a trendy bar. It also has spa and indoor and outdoor pools. Great property with a 4 star restaurant, wellness and great team - mostly family I think. I loved the room and the wellness layout was nice, though it just opened up. Breakfast was good. I forgot my swimmers, so I'll see if they still have them when I come back by (I left word on Booking messaging app). A GREAT night here.

This rural hotel with its gourmet restaurant and bistro is beautifully situated in its own private park on the banks of a river in the Haute Sûre valley, an ideal place for many outdoor activities. An absolute gem. My partner, baby and I needed an overnight stay on our way to England from southern Germany. We found this hotel on Booking.com at an excellent price. Our long drive was certainly complemented with the beautiful scenery surrounding this establishment before receiving a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. We were lucky to arrive in time to enjoy a drink by the calming sounds of the river followed by a delicious three course meal. Compliments to the chef! We were served from start to finish by Elisée, an asset to this company. We were made to feel right at home and thank you once again for a great evening following a long drive. The breakfast was ready on time, offering a selection of hotel classics on the buffet. We would definitely come again. Thanks.

The Hotel is ideally situated, overlooking the park close to the river 'Sûre' with its canoes and the cycle path along its banks. Mike was great great location and fantastic breakfast

The family-run St Fiacre hotel is beautifully located in the natural setting of Bourscheid. Enjoy the lovely terrace and garden during a quiet afternoon in the sun. Friendly staff and great dinner and breakfast. Quiet area.
