Great breakfast, endless options of müsli and cereals as well as good selection of juices, cheese and bread. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had great outdoor seating and very good pizzas.

Featuring a restaurant and free spa with hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna, family-run Gasthof zur Sonne lies in Stelvio, part of the namesake national park. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hotel deserves all the positives I can give it. In retrospect, we wish we had scheduled to stay more than one night. The property and rooms are exceptionally clean and look almost new. The five course dinner (which we didn't know about until we arrived) is phenomenal. So is the breakfast. Conveniently situated on the east side of the Stelvio Pass and is perfect for exploring and hiking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Set at 1700 metres above sea level, Hotel Edelweiss is right on the Schlinig cross-country ski runs. Offering panoramic mountain views, this family-run property features a traditional restaurant. The owner made us very welcome. The room was well appointed and the views were amazing. Evening meal in the restaurant was a menu of the day, all prepared fresh with plenty of salad. It is a bit of a drive up the hill, but the views are more than worth it. The town is lovely and quiet with some beautiful buildings
