Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the view was gorgeous. Good location. Hot tubs. Cute troll park around the property. Rooms were cozy, beautiful and clean. Staff was helpful.

Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. One of our favourite places where we stayed in Iceland! Probably the most friendly staff we encountered on our travels in the country. Food was outstanding and baked goods were incredibly good. Felt like you were brought into their home for dinner.

A great place as our last stop in westfjords! There's a N1 gas pump, a free air pump with tire pressure gauge, and a free high pressure washer to clean your car! Just PERFECT after a few days driving on westfjords dirt roads. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Nice room and comfy beddings. Wifi signal not very good but still useable maybe too many people there.

Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The accomodation is located in a farm, basically in the middle of nowhere, but it's totally worth taking the long journey in the Westfjords to get to this place. It has a very unique feeling, you are in the nature. I arrived very late, around midnight, but communication with the hotel staff and then self check in was very easy. After arrival I jumped into the hot pool (which is available 24/7), they have both outdoor and indoor pools (in an amazing palm house). Breakfast was divine with a lot of local produce, it's definitely worth the additional 2000 ISK that I had to pay for that. It's a place where I definitely have to return one day.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The hotel was very quaint and really nicely done. The communal area was great for relaxing and having a drink, and was also where they served breakfast which was lovely. The staff were really nice and the location of the hotel was perfect! Can’t fault it.

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. It was a great place to stay on the quiet island.
