Everything was perfect; breakfast, the bar, the restaurant, the hot tub, just everything! Especially the hospitality and service of the staff was amazing. Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away. Very Friendly staff /nice big room very comfortable bed / with lovey decor. the hotel has a hot tub and a sauna and they even Loan you the use of a fluffy Bath robe and slip ons for walking to the tub .. two choices for dinner we had the buffet it’s was fantastic breakfast was also the best lots of choice for both definitely recommend this place to stay and if you leave your room number they will ring u if the lights appear .. this place ticked all the box’s

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Our host was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the area with lots of tips. We arrived to a wonderful surprise of homemade bread and food in the kitchen for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The patio has a great view of the sunset which was wonderful after a long day. If I travel to Myvatn again, I know where I will be staying :)

Amazing property and the owner is super nice! We loved waking up to the tranquil sound of the waterfall and sheep on the mountain in the morning.

Overlooking Lake Mývatn, this camping site offers cottages with wooden floors, a private bathroom and a terrace. The hotel provides good service with helping the clothes washing. And u could easily pick up in the day. Soooo nice!

Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.
