Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. Loved everything the room was spotless, beds were so comfortable and the pillows so soft we had a great sleep. The food was beautiful and service quick. Breakfast selfservice and excellent The rooms were off in sections and you could here a pin drop it was so quiet tg that's what I love. Couldn't fault the hotel in any way. Wonderful relaxing break away. Deffs recommend and look forward to staying again. at some point Lovely grounds to walk around also.

Staff in Reception, bar and bistro were immaculate dressed, very efficient and so friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Boasting free bikes and a garden, Corriebeg Cottage provides accommodation in an isolated countryside area, 10 km outside of Boris, with free WiFi and mountain views. We had a wonderful stay at Mim and Janie's cottage. They were very friendly and hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed chatting with them about life and their horses. The cottage was incredibly clean and cozy and the bathroom was modern. We really enjoyed the warm breakfast they brought in the morning.
