The Taychreggan Hotel is a charming and lovely place located right on Loch Awe. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were treated like royalty. The hotel is secluded in a beautiful setting and the grounds are pristinely maintained. The room was very comfortable and extremely clean and quiet. The food at both dinner and breakfast was delicious. The bar cozy and inviting. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and will definitely come back for a lovely weekend get away. Wish we had stayed more than one night.
Dalmally
We love this place, this is our second visit. Situated on the edge of Loch Awe, it is beautifully peaceful. The views are magnificent. We had a loch view need, I say more. The hotel is an old 18th century listed building, so do not expect a 5 star modern hotel ( wouldn't fit in this area anyway), HOWEVER, the food is definitely 5 star! The chef is amazing, so eat in their restaurant. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff are great.

Lovely wee hotel for a few nights stay. Mike and his staff were fantastic, friendly, and very accommodating. The rooms are cosy and clean, with a lovely view to Loch Awe. Great service and a very tasty breakfast. I would definitely recommend it. Train to Oban just a few minutes' walk away. 😊
