With the Christmas decorations and the chilly weather the property lit up like a fairy land. The staff were enthusiastic friendly and very helpful all the time. Our room theme was tastefully and authentically done and connected to personal memories of my time in Africa years ago. The room had all modern facilities and lovely views. The grounds and gardens were inviting and interesting. The link between travel and histories was seamless and provided additional interest. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant on both nights. The Coeur De Loire is located in Nantes, 1.7 km from the Chateau Des Ducs De Bretagne. The breakfast is served on the indoor or outdoor terrace, overlooking the garden. I loved our stay at Coeur de Loire. The staff were all so nice and welcoming, they advised us on how to get to the train station by public transport, and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city centre for nice restaurants and very close to a gorgeous bakery! The room was so clean and it had the perfect amount of storage. I can't recommend it more, it definitely deserves to be at least 3 stars.

The Abbey of Villeneuve, former Cistercian abbey of the thirteenth century, Sorinières, near the city of Nantes. We had the most amazing time at the Abbaye de Villeneuve when we spent one night there driving from Brittany to South of France. The service was amazing, the rooms beautiful, and we got to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was also delicious. I recommend asking for a reservation at L’Epicurien as well (the Michelin starred restaurant in the hotel) which was delicious.

Super smile and cheerful lady welcomed us. Provide and explain the touring information to us, and with all maps and even restaurants timetable. The room itself is with very nice design though the size was a bit small. Love the hotel itself was turned from a chapel. Parking is easy inside. or street parking not difficult too.
