Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Everything was absolutely stunning! Wish we had stayed more days. The pool was a dream!

We were welcomed by the owner who shared the history of the property and made us feel warmly welcomed and generously helped us with all of our questions. This was our favorite stay throughout the Loire Valley, and we ended on the best note possible.

Located in Saumur town centre, Hotel Saint-Pierre is next to the Loire River at the foot of Chateau de Saumur. It offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Where to start ?! We loved this place - so much character, Everything was thought of in so much detail… the rooms were cozy and so comfortable, we really felt so well looked after. the public spaces were also excellent , hardly wanted to go out as we wanted to enjoy the bar, the little courtyard, but we had to see the town ! Reggis was also fabulous and a friendly and gracious host!

Set at the heart of the Loire Valley, this 18th-century château offers luxury rooms with period furniture. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The place is magnificent, elegant and very well kept. The owner as well as all the staff made us feel comfortable and at home. The room that I stayed was in the Chateaux, fantastic view over the grounds, big bathroom and all that you need, from a small fridge, iron, to a hair dryer. The dining room and the way they set the table for dinner and breakfast were informal with an exquisite elegance touch. Food was great! Thank you Arnaud and all the staff!!

Yannick our host was excellent, so friendly and he offered great advice for local restaurants and attractions. Best experience in France.
