Set in Koli National Park, this hotel offers ski-to-door access from Ukko-Koli ski slope. It has a grill restaurant and spa with indoor pools, outdoor hot tubs and 3 saunas. Wi-Fi is free. This is one of our favourite locations in the whole world to which we have returned many times. I think it is the sense of contact with nature and in particular the forest which is beautiful in all seasons

Situato a 1,5 km dalla città di Koli, il Kolin Lotus Cottages si trova vicino al Lago Pielinen. It was much cosier than in the pictures and was spotlessly clean. This small resort functioned like a well oiled machine and the caretaker was on hand offering assistance/ taking conscientious care of ploughing the snow to aid our exit and entry to the property. It was very very cold when we visited and the snow was mounding up continuously, but there was firewood on tap and the sauna was wonderful. and the view/ position amongst the trees was just idyllic. The cabins are in the perfect location for visiting Koli national park; witnessing the crown snow load alone was worth the drive from Helsinki. For anyone doing the same be aware that driving in the snow can increase the predicted driving time by 1/3!

Situato a Kolinkylä, a soli 1,4 km dal Parco Nazionale di Koli, il Kolin Lotus Superior offre sistemazioni fronte spiaggia, un salone in comune, una spiaggia privata, l'accesso diretto alle piste... Great view, well cleaned and everything worked well. The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

Dotato di un barbecue, il Lake Cottage Jänisvaara si trova a Kolinkylä, a 11 km dal Parco Nazionale di Koli. La struttura dispone di 2 saune. Kolin tuoli-/maisemahissi si trova a 8 km di distanza. The house keeper was always in touch, and helped with directions. The cottage is very clean. It has a huge space: three rooms + living room + kitchen, sauna, bathroom and toilet. Everything works fine. The kitchen has everything to cook on and to eat from. The living room has nice fireplace. The house is lovely decorated in every small things: we felt secure and home by living there. There is also separate building of private wood-burning sauna on the cottage territory. Koli nature reserve is in 10 minutes drive - and is a nature wonder! There is complete silence everywere - it brings a lot of relaxation and peace to the soul. Planning to return there on the autumn season also. Thank a lot!
