If there is a kinder,more helpful gentleman in the world we have yet to meet him. Expecting a cold start to our trip we needed to shed some of our clothing. He volunteered to look after it for us. He advised us on our next day,s route. He looked after our bikes in his garage. The hotel is perfectly clean and modern and located right in the middle of town near restaurants and bars.

The hotel is nice, comfortable and modern; the environment beautiful and calm. We had booked half-board and were sent to restaurante Posada Santa Maria la real in Aguilar de Campoo for dinner. The meal was super; they also offered a good alternative for my vegetarian husband! And we were lucky to be able to go to a free concert in the church of the monasterio de santa Maria la real. The drive back was beautiful, the night quiet and breakfast the next morning offered everything you would want! The staff were kind, casual and very friendly. And we loved the fact that we could open the window and be protected from mosquitos by the net curtains

This was by far the best accommodation I rented during my visit to Spain. It is a very special place, dating from 1600, thick stone walls, huge wooden beamed ceilings. The owners met us at the property and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Its location near the Montaña Palentinas is excellent, with easy driving to fantastic mountain hiking. I would highly recommend this property.

The house is perfect for a family stay. It is situated on the border of Palencia city, reachable by car in 5 min. It has a beautiful garden and an outside pool. Overall, the house is exquisite and we enjoyed our stay a lot!
