Among Cairo hotels, Steigenberger El Tahrir secures a spectacular location in El Tahrir Square, overlooking the Egyptian museum, minutes away from Khan El Khalili Bazar, and in close proximity to... Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable and excellent location. We had a minor issue with a floor lamp which was dealt with super quickly, but that was not enough: We were offered an upgrade as well. Not necessary, but of course appreciated. The new room was closer to the street however, and we had issues sleeping as traffic in Cairo is... Well, louder than what we are used to. I asked if it was at all possible to move us again (and would have been perfectly fine with returning to the room we previously had, upgrade or not!) - and not only was my request granted, but we actually received yet another upgrade, to a suite in a quiet area. And as if this was not enough, we even had a very kind surprise waiting for us in the room (beautiful rose petals on the bed and in a bubble bath, it was our honeymoon). Amazing service, absolutely above and beyond expectations. A big thank you to the Assistant Front Office Manager, Mr. Mahmoud Hamza, who was incredibly kind, thoughtful and accommodating. The whole staff also deserve a compliment. I would absolutely recommend the Steigenberger El Tahrir if you're considering a visit to central Cairo - and I will return to the brand when I visit a location where they are present.

Superb location in central Cairo, within walking distance to the Egyptian Museum and metro station. Lots of dining possibilities in the vicinity. Rooms are newly renovated, functional, and air-conditioned. 3 options of good and fresh breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staffs.

It worths more than 10!!! The room was so clean and big with the fantastic view of Pyramids! The owner of the hotel is a real professional and the whole team! For sure I recommend for all to go there!! You gonna love it!!!

Fantastic family run hotel where all staff and the owners were so incredibly helpful that it made our stay in Cairo one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. They literally, could not do enough for us and were always ready to help, from getting us transport, to changing money and even just getting extra water and towels for the room. I’ve been to Cairo before and stayed in a big name hotel, but this was so much better. Beautiful people, sensational views and fantastic service. Ditch the big hotels and stay at this small family owned hotel, you won’t be sorry! We love the people who own and run the hotel and had a fantastic and fun stay with them.

Very good location if you choose to stay in Giza . And all the personnel was very polite and helpful . Totally recommend.

It has the best view of the pyramids especially in the morning just having your breakfast from the rooftop overlooking the pyramids is truly breathtaking. The staffs, reception manager and the owner are really friendly. Khalid the bar waiter is exceptional in his line of work. Islam the reception manager is Amazingly friendly and really looks after each and everything you might possibly need. Ahmed, the owner of the hotel is just wonderful and accommodating to even sits with you for hours just trying to entertain you with authentic Egyptian hospitality. The property is clean and the amenities are surprisingly good. Easily can be compared to a hotel like services. I really can't fault much about the experience with the property. It's highly and easy recommendable.
