Built in 2015, this family-run hotel enjoys a privileged position in the Valais Alps in Le Châble, only a 5-minute walk from both a gondola lift and the train station. Breakfast was excellent, standard Swiss staples like eggs, fresh bread, jam, and cheeses. The staff was super friendly and helpful and we enjoyed chatting with them. Rooms were cozy and comfortable, bathroom is excellent. There’s a sauna downstairs that was a welcome treat after a day on the slopes. Highly recommend this hotel! Merci!

Located in Champex, at the foot of the Mont Blanc Massif, Hotel Splendide offers a large terrace with a view of the Grand Combin. The ski slopes are 300 metres away. I had a great view from the balcony. The owner/manager/hosts were very friendly. Really nice property, outdoor area, and cute rooms.

The hotel and the rooms are simple but nice and clean. Toilet and shower are shared, but there were 2 showers and 2 toilets in 3 locations for 4 rooms, plus a sink in the room. The staff / owner was exceptionally helpful, letting us check in well before the official check in time, providing the possibility for a breakfast in the middle of the night, letting us leave our luggage in the morning. Perfect customer-oriented service. Dinner in the restaurant was also great, maybe the best cheese fondue we have ever had, and again, the service was perfect.
