She made restaurant reservations for us and made very useful recommendations on things to do in the area. We had a great walk to see the church (about 30 minutes) and enjoyed our stay. We came at just the right time when guests left the night before so we had the residence all to ourselves. One thing that is a mini detail is that the showers in the rooms had ample space to bathe and lots of clean hot water. There was a “hot pot” available on site to enjoy while taking in scenic views. The breakfast was tasty and delicious. This is a historic property that owners have really done a great job with. Highly recommend!

Offering a children's playground, restaurant and terrace, Albergo Robiei is located in Cevio, at 1890 metres above sea level at the foot of the Basodino mountain range. The hotel is old (60'-70'). The conditions are not TOP, but we are talking about a high altitude location. The staff is friendly and they work hard to keep it clean. Their services are impeccable as well. Chapeau! An exquisite location. I will return there asap.

Cristallina is an eco-friendly hotel, set amidst nature in the scenic Lower Maggia Valley. Lovely staff, great food and the private sauna downstairs was the best (sauna usage costs extra). A very early check-in due to the bad weather was no problem. Pet friendly hotel.
