Opened in 2014, Vienna House by Wyndham zur Bleiche Schaffhausen is located on the edge of the Old Town of Schaffhausen and features a restaurant with a show kitchen, a sun terrace and free WiFi... I am very grateful to the reception which was very helpful despite our visit on the Christmas Eve.

What a perfect location when arriving by car (could be a bit of a walk from the train station with luggage) Great walking access to the town, the river and the Munot. Centrally located in Stein am Rhein, Hotel Rheinfels is housed in a historic building from the 14th century and features a restaurant with a large terrace facing the river. Great location, comfortable room with AC, good breakfast and nice staff.

Situated amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city centre. Stuff was very kind and helpful. Room was super clean. Breakfast was nice and rich.

Hotel Hohberg "Next to BBC Arena" is situated in a residential area on the edge of a forest, 4 km from the centre of Schaffhausen and 6 km from the Rhine Falls. Comfortable, close to Arena and very nice staff. Very nice breakfast and a decent price.

Set in Ramsen bei Stein am Rhein, this charming hotel is 19 km away from the Rhine Falls. The restaurant serves typical Swiss cuisine and free Wi-Fi and free parking is available on site. Large, comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.

The Hotel & Restaurant Alte Rheinmühle enjoys a romantic location right on the Rhine river. Schaffhausen can easily reached by bus. The hotel offers fine cuisine, free parking and free Wi-Fi. the whole hotel and service is a perfect combination - we are repeating guests and will come back as soon as possible
