Hotel Breithorn is a traditional Swiss wooden house with free WiFi and free entrance to the spa facilities of the partner hotels. Everything! Service was great, the ladies were very kind and helpful the whole stay. Breakfast and dinner was excellent and the room super clean cosy and modern. Loved everything about our stay.

The Alpenhotel zur Wildi is located above Wilen in the Lötschen valley, between the Lauchernalp and the Stafel cable car stations, right at the ski slope. Great hotel, location and restaurant! Highly recommended for summer and winter activities.

The family-run Hotel Edelweiss is located in the centre of the charming village of Blatten in the Lötschental valley, which is part of the UNESCO-protected Jungfrau-Aletsch-Bietschhorn area. After four nights at Edelweiss, you get the feeling you belong to the family ;-)! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner there every day, it was excellent. The bread in the morning! Hmm! The family room we had was very comfortable, spacy enough for three and the bathroom very clean.

Situated in the Lötschental Valley, Bietschhorn offers room with wooden furniture in the village of Kippel. The Lauchernalp Ski Area is a 2-minute drive away. We stayed there for one night to extend our ski holiday and be able to ski in Lauchernalp, too. It is a charming traditional old house; we booked a room with shared bathroom because that was the only one available for our date in the main ski season. We did not have high expectations but enjoyed our stay very much. It was kind of a mountain hut feeling with a lot more comfort. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and had soap, shampoo available and there was a bathrobe in our room as well. The owners were extremely nice and accommodated all our wishes. The hotel has a restaurant and we had fondue from the ala cart menu for dinner, which was excellent, but I wish I booked half board because the 5-course dinner the cook served for another group looked amazing. I am happy to return to this small hotel when I am back in the "magic valley" next time, which is an outdoor paradise with lots of traditions.
