Its lobby has a 24-hour front desk, a complementary tea and coffee corner, and an elevator. the hotel was nice and quaint. it had a cute chess decor at the backyard. the breakfast spread was decent. the hotel owner was very friendly and kind. I wasn’t feeling well and he ensure that his driver send me to the train station when I was unable to get a taxi. He also got be soap detergent for me to do my laundry. the hotel staff overall were friendly and hospitable😊

The location is undeniably top in Brussels for both business and leisure. The Louise area is upscale, friendly, safe and well-served in all aspects ranging from commerce to transportation. The stay was so comfortable and familiar that it evoked the good old days when I lived in the area. The accommodation per se was an excellent junior suite that in effect is a well equipped apartment, decorated with clean modern classy touches, well soundproofed for extremely quiet peace of mind, whilst also endowed with plenty of natural light and spacious airy feel when opening the curtains and huge glass panels to the inspiring vibrant city outside. While I was on business with limited time to relax, it was a blessing to contemplate the gentle snowfall and sit after hectic conference days going through several of the great books present in the living room and bedroom for a nice relaxing and instructive read. Even so, make no mistake as this is not just an apartment: it is set on a fully-serviced hotel, whose excellent staff provided the exceptional care of upscale hotel service: highly attentive to one's needs, and aptly fulfilling them with utmost professionalism, which is highly appreciated. This place encapsulates the quality and rigor of a grand hotel packaged in a discrete, cozy boutique hotel, a home away from home. The flexibility and independence of fully equipped accommodations with the exceptional service and care of professional hoteliers. At this place, I found a well integrated solution that meets the best of both hotel and apartment/home concepts. With a team that is always there for you, always highly responsive, composed and caring, always striving to do their best. As far as I am concerned, they succeeded with flying colors in all aspects, hence I unreservedly grant them the highest marks. Thank you very much and Best Wishes!
Maison Flagey Brussels

Housed in a classified Art Nouveau building dating from 1906, Maison Flagey Brussels is located in Ixelles, next to the two ponds in Flagey. It was my second visit here and it was as nice as the first time. We had the royal suite for which the bathtub is in the middle of the room so you def wanna go with a close friend or partner. It’s of course amazing to stay in such a place if you’re a bit of an architecture/interior design nerd like I am. It’s in a really handy location too as you’re 5min walk from Flagey (two bus lines straight to the city center but also some nice restaurants/bars there). The room we had also has a balcony which is always a great bonus.

We had a very quiet room which was quite spacious. Every amenity was right in the room- coffee maker, kettle, robes, slippers and lots of bottles of shampoo/conditioner/soap etc. The staff was very good, especially Suzanna who wakes us to the team station and told us how it worked and how to pay for it. Very kind indeed.

Very conveniently located and the room was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The gym also had a sauna. The staff was also very friendly and super helpful.

Brussels is the city where expats are coming to live for a couple of years and end up living there forever (18 years in my case). As for every city, not every place is worth seeing and some areas are better left out of our roadmap but there's also tons of streets, places, restaurants and people to enjoy. Prefer the south - north east part of the inner city but also don't limit yourself to the inner city, go past the "petite ceinture" and go spend some time in Ixelles, Uccle and so many other of the communes that are part of the Brussels region. The city is small enough to rely on walking and trams exclusively.
