Pasteis de Belem is perfect, but the queue you see at the door waiting for takeaway, is nothing compared to the queue standing inside for a table. you go in in the left door, and walk and walk across rooms to find yourself on the end of a line. They can sit down over 400 person, but in a very noisy and not at all romantic venue.

Next to a large number of cafes but not noisy as they closed early. Lots of space in the room, the shared lounge and well-equipped kitchen (though it could do with a bread knife!). And buying food is now much easier as a big new Lidl opened at the football ground in April.

Despite only having one bathroom, there are two bedrooms and an improvised bedroom, which are comfortable and accommodated five people very well! Excellent value for money.
