Rainbow Escape is our main 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bathroom residence. Enjoy your morning tea, coffee and yoga practice from our spacious deck overlooking the Manoa mountain range. In the afternoons, your family will often be treated to spectacular rainbows from the comfort of the living room or the hot tub hammock! Your family will be close to Manoa waterfall and 15 minutes from the beaches, restaurants and world class shopping in Waikiki, while enjoying the serenity of this rainforest retreat. Rainbow Bungalow is our 2 bedroom/1 bathroom guest house. It completely free-standing home with mountain views over our the roof line of Rainbow Escape. It has a full-size washer/dryer, kitchen, living room, private covered lanai with outdoor dining, and a rainforest garden. Walking distance to Manoa waterfalls and local park with Olympic-sized pool, tennis/basketball/pickleball courts, and wellness classes (yoga, pilates, hula + ). Easy access to beaches, hiking, downtown, military bases, schools, University, and hospitals. Seeing a rainbow is a common occurrence in the afternoons from both residences.
We have lived in and owned the property for over 15 years. We rent Rainbow Bungalow for 1-6 months and Rainbow Escape for 1-2 months at a time. If you have a special request for certain dates, please send us a message and we will see if we can accommodate you.
This property is close to everything in town but secluded and quiet at the same time. Manoa Marketplace, which is about 1.5 miles from the house, has everything you need - grocery store, drug store, 3 coffee shops, vegetarian cafe, ahi bowl cafe and more. Enjoy award-winning restaurants, a farmer market, grocery stores, mall and beautiful community park nearby with an olympic-sized pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds and a plethora of free and inexpensive wellness classes. Freeway access close by. Public (bus) transportation within walking distance.
