For a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, Il Fienile (fee-eh-nee-ley) is an old converted barnhouse to rent at 3 Kms from the beautiful historical town of San Gimignano. Il Fienile, with private swimming pool access, can accomodate up to 4 people. Il Fienile is an independent house with a pleasant outdoor area in front of the main entrance and a private lawn overlooking stunning Tuscan countryside views and the swimming pool. Car parking is available next to the barn. l Fienile is a recently fully restored typical Tuscan architecture, with terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings. Ceiling fans are present in all rooms of Il Fienile. The 60 square meters (650 sq. ft.) interior space is on 3 levels A well equipped kitchen is located at the ground floor entrance, with chestnut wood cabinets, fridge/freezer, gas stovetop/hob, microwave, double sink and an indoor dining area. Downstairs from the entry/kitchen area is a double bedroom and bathroom with bath/shower, w.c. and sink. The bed can make into 2 single beds. A child’s cot is available upon request.

I love staying in Tuscany, a true paradise where nature and art combine creating such a unique harmony. I love art (of course…), the countryside, music and travelling. When hosting at my house in the beautiful countryside of San Gimignano, as I live most of the time in Florence, often my good friend Sara or her father, born and bred in the medieval town of San Gimignano, will be there to receive you and welcome you to Tuscany.
Il Fienile is only 3 kilometers from the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano with its famous towers… a beautiful walk of 40 minutes on a cool summer morning. Travel times by car to other historical Tuscan cities are: - Florence – 60 mins - Pisa – 75 mins - Siena – 50 mins - Certaldo – 20 mins - Volterra – 35 mins In the middle of olive trees and vines, looking out across the Tuscan hills, Il Fienile is truly a pleasure to stay at. We look forward to you coming to visit.
