Five stunning apartment houses, located along the sun-splashed beaches in the village of Rukavac on the southern side of the island of Vis in the middle of Adriatic Sea, are on the playful side of the paradise. This is the perfect place for your sea-side escape made just for you. You will be enjoying clean sea, silence in idleness. Staying in our apartments would be fun, romantic and active, and best of all: best beaches on the island are all walking distance from your house. There are 11 apartments from studios to 4 bedrooms apartments and all of our houses are facing the sea, some have the sea view. They are maximum of 4 minutes walking distance to the sea shore and to the closest beaches. Fantastic nature all around the island, exciting tours and fine dining await just steps from the village of Rukavac. Plan a day filled with exciting activities or relax on the beach and do nothing at all.

I am Viktorija, originally from Slovenia and my family got over here to this beautiful island long time ago while it was still Yugoslavia. We felt in love with the place and later on bought a plot in Rukavac and built a small summer house with some extra apartments. That was when I was still a kid. Later on I had a great job – I was a manager of a big hotel in the Slovenian coastal resort and everything seemed exactly as it should be. When Dario and I got our first kid and then soon after the second, all things changed. We founded the Sea House Apartments and Active Holiday Company and started putting to use all our experience with living on the island of Vis and all the work until then in the travel industry. Slowly active holidays were something we wanted to offer to travellers who wanted to do fun things while still being on a holidays and at the same time offer them a nice place to stay. We love what we do and we do it with all our hearts.

The choices for fun and relaxation are endless. Our properties are located just minutes walking from the best beaches on the island of Vis, like Srebrna beach or Teplus beach, plus we offer an array of creative packages that make it even easier to add boat trips to nearby islands (and the famous Blue cave and Stiniva beach) to your vacation plans. The island itself is small, it has only 42 kilometres of paved road (and so many other ones to discover) but endless beaches and hidden spots to discover. The two major towns, Vis and Komiža, are close by. The closest food store is 1 km away but the fresh bread and fruits and vegetables are daily brought to the village of Rukavac.
