Our house is located in the very heart of Stari Grad, overlooking the picturesque harbor. We have spent the last year upgrading the house with all new furniture perfect for a sophisticated island getaway. You will find a spacious, private and bright two story home. The upper floor has a large kitchen that leads out to the terrace with its beautiful view over the historic old town. The terrace has a big stone table for 8 and is where guests spend a lot of their time. A BBQ is also on the terrace. Upstairs there is also a lounge, with cozy sofa and two airy bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with walnut accents throughout. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both rooms have big armoires with ample storage and hanging space for your clothes. There is a newly renovated large shared bathroom that has an open walk-in shower and a freestanding tub. The lower floor has a big lounge area and is ideal place for the family or kids to hang out. There is a TV and a table to play games at and a workout area. This floor leads to the bottom terrace where you can rest in the shade. The NEW 15 meter pool is just steps away. You will never have to leave the villa!
We love Croatia and especially Hvar, and we were lucky enough to find this great house in Stari Grad 3 years ago and look forward to sharing it with you. When we are not in Croatia we reside in Los Angeles. We have spent the last year updating the property and putting in a pool this year will complete our vision for the house. The house is managed by a wonderful local woman named Martina. Martina truly knows everyone on Hvar, and is extremely kind and helpful and will make your stay a great one.
The best thing about our location is that you can walk to everything in town, but you have the benefit of your own villa. If you like to explore, Hvar has many beaches, historical sites and other villages to visit and Stari Grad is ideally located in the middle of the island. Stari Grad is where the car ferry arrives, so it allows for easy access to the villa too.
