Our third time at this wonderful apartment. Welcoming and generous host. Very clean and comfortable with a great balcony overlooking the beach. Excellent location for popping in to Makry too for its lovely beach, tavernas and bars.

Location, location, location - 5 meters to the quiet beach, separated by a small hill from the more busy Makry Gialos promenade. The owners are super nice, the closest neighbour is super nice. All of them are super helpful. We were staying at the apartament for 4 weeks with the family of 5, the apartment is not really big but it was enough for us, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own food. There were special treats (like sweets, fruits and of course olive oil :) ) prepared by the owner on the day of our arrival which was super nice. All in all, highly recommended!

We were only here for four days as we used the apartment as a base for travelling around the eastern part of the island. A very helpful host welcomed us at the arranged time and showed us our apartment. He told us to call if we needed anything. The apartment is fully equipped as a full holiday apartment - not even a washing machine is missing. The sea is just a few steps away, the beach is mostly just a few people from the surrounding apartments. However, we didn't use the beach as we just slept in the apartment between our trips.

Die Lage ist sehr gut: unmittelbar beim Strand, eine sehr gute Taverne nur ein paar Schritte entfernt. Der Strand ist sehr sauber, nie überfüllt, es sind Tamarisken gepflanzt, d.h. es gibt sogar kostenlose Schattenplätze. Das Appartment ist geräumig, gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet, der Vermieter sehr nett und darauf bedacht, dass man sich wohl fühlt (wir sind mit ca. 2 Stunden Verspätung in der Nacht angekommen, er hat uns selber kontaktiert und auf uns gewartet).

Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος ήταν φανταστική, ακριβώς μπροστά σε μια υπέροχη και ήσυχη παραλία με πεντακάθαρα νερά, ενώ βρίσκεται και σε μικρή απόσταση από τον κεντρικό δρόμο με τα καταστήματα και τα εστιατόρια της περιοχής. Το κατάλυμα είχε όλες τις ανέσεις, ειδικά για μία οικογένεια με παιδιά. Οι ιδιοκτήτες έχουν προσέξει μέχρι και την παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια, όπως για παράδειγμα τα προστατευτικά για τις πρίζες! Είναι κατάλληλο για διαμονή πολλών ημερών, ενώ το μπαλκόνι με θέα τη θάλασσα είναι το καλύτερο μέρος για χαλάρωση! Ανυπομονούμε να επιστρέψουμε με την πρώτη ευκαιρία!

Apartment was absolutely lovely and clean with an amazing large balcony facing the beach. Hosts supplied everything you could possibly need plus they threw in a large basket of fruit, olive oil and local pastries. The apartment is in walking distance to the main restaurants and even has a good taverna within 50meters. We have been traveling around Crete for 3 weeks and this was our nicest stay by far. We loved it!!
