Casa Metropolis, an old 1927 Traditional house was recently completely restored with an addition of a modern extension that includes a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom a kitchenette and a private small terrace. The furniture includes old precious pieces with an exceptional taste. In the kitchen the old wood fire brick oven was preserved, giving the house a unique beauty. Old original wall plates decorate the the living room, in it's original place. The house offers all kind of amenities to make you feel at home away from home!!
My passion to restore this old traditional Karpathian house with a great respect to the local tradition together with the addition of a contemporary extension part, made this place ideal for winter escapes, as well as, a unique offer for my dear guests during the summer period. I will be waiting to welcome you to CasaMetropolis, whenever your plans bring you to this beautiful island.
While in CasaMetropolis, one enjoys a unique quiet place, while you are close to visit Pigadia for many choices of restaurants, bars, caffe’s and the close by villages of Volada and Othos for dining in local tavernas with typical Karpathian homemade specialties. The most beautiful beaches of the island are within a short driving distance. Achata beach is just a 3km distance, like Kyra Panaghia is just a 15minutes drive. Walking paths are an excellent option and experience for those who love it. Hiking paths are also another interesting choice with visit of caves in the nearby area of Achata. A visit to the northern part of Karpathos, is a must for whomever visits the island. There you will find the traditional village of Olympos and Diafani, while you can visit, on the same day, the beautiful beach of Aghios Minas or Aghios Nikolaos and enjoy fresh fish at the local fish taverna "To Votsalo".
