We are a husband and wife team, Carl and Sarah Stanger. We live locally and are available for you seven days a week - in person, on the phone of via email. Carl’s background is in marketing, much of it international, which helped feed his love of travel – nicely topping up two separate global backpacking years. Experiencing a diverse mix of swanky but often soulless business class hotels and friendly but basic hostels shapes an opinion of what travellers need and want (and, as importantly, don’t). Sarah enjoyed a career in public relations prior to roles as mother, director for Exclusively Holiday Homes and chief family organiser. A shift away from London has many advantages for a young family who love fresh air, the outdoor life and a beach at the end of the road! An idyllic, cosy cottage hideaway for couples with pretty gardens, yet within touching distance of Eastbourne town centre. Just 10 minutes walk to the train station but step through a gate and into another world of birdsong, humming bees and tranquility. Close to a 12th century pub and church, the delightful Gildredge Park (with a cafe offering the best homemade cakes in town!) and an easy stroll to the beach, theatres and all the best on offer in Eastbourne.

Eastbourne has something for everyone – whether you’re looking for a traditional seaside holiday or a culture break. Very easy to walk around town, to the beach, theatres, shops and cafes. There is also an open top bus to take up to Beachy Head for amazing cliff-top walks.
