On the edge of Exmoor, Little Burston is a beautiful country home set in 110 acres of our own farmland close to Dulverton. Surrounded by nature, very comfortable and well equipped. It can sleep up to 6 people. Two bedrooms and one king sized sofa bed in the connecting space between the bedrooms. Your own private garden with hot tub and patio, own drive and ample parking. Heated pool at the main house 1st May to end September. For your and our use only. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs. There is a fee when booking in dogs.
The cottage will be ready for your arrival. I leave it open with your keys inside so just make yourselves at home. I will pop up and see you when you arrive and explain where everything is. We are nearby at the farmhouse should you need anything. Please text me or come to the house if you need anything or any problems. If you need extra wood its here at the main house. Help yourself. On the day you leave we like to say goodbye and check everything has been ok for you. Would you please sign the visitors book before you go and a review would be great when you get home.
We have lived here for almost 40 years and brought up our 4 children here. We used to farm sheep and beef, but now we sell hay. There are horses, our black Labradors Sirius and Reggie who are sure to say hello and a cat called Misha. There are hens, pygmi goats, peacocks and Guinea fowl wandering around. We think it’s a magical place. The pace of life is slower here and our guests tell us its a place to feel good in. Definitely suits those who like the outdoors or who want to chill in beautiful surroundings. Bring your wellies so you can explore. There are lots of tourist leaflets and other information for you inside the cottage. We know a good stables nearby should you wish to ride. You definitely need a car. You cannot really walk to anywhere. The nearest pub is at Exebridge about 2 miles away. From the M5 junction 27 to us is about 25 mins -17 miles. The nearest station is Tiverton parkway at junction 27.
