I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED it there! The great vibe, the many drink and food options (vegan pizza - yay!), the pool with ocean view, the yoga spot, the proximity to the ocean & beaches... They have the best spots to watch the sunset - down by the fire pit or up at the rooftop bar. I stayed for more than two weeks and the staff made me feel at home - an exceptionally friendly, warm and chill bunch of amazing people! Sooo - highly recommended!

Our stay at Hakuna Matata Hostel exceeded our expectations! Although it was a quick one night stop as we made our way through Portugal, we wished we had more time to explore the laid back town. I stayed in this ground floor room with 4 beds in a row. It was comfortable spacious and clean. It was neat and plenty of space to spread out. There was a powerpoint, a lamp at each bed and a courtyard for drying things. They provided a towel, and the shower worked well and there was hot water. It had a nice kitchen, that was well equiped and clean. You could also ask to get washing done.

Lovely room with a balcony in this quaint town. Very clean, comfortable bed and a private bathroom just outside the room. The well equipped kitchen was appreciated including tea. Patricia was a welcoming and accommodating host. Highly recommend!
