Baron's Hostel is well set in the centre of Reykjavík, and provides a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. There room was tidy and clean. Everything was as we expected!

Well situated in the Vesturbær district of Reykjavík, Refurinn Reykjavik Guesthouse is set 1.5 km from Hallgrímskirkja Church, 1.6 km from Solfar Sun Voyager and 3.6 km from The Pearl. Great place to stay, very well located, the house had everything that we needed, in the room there was basic stuff like coffee, tea, water and what we needed to make them, so it was really great, and also a sink for the basic, the kitchen was very well organize and we were able to cook some basic food for our daily trips. Toilets always clean, room clean. The bed was super comfy, we really enjoyed our stay, everything went super smoothly.

Located 3.5 km from Reykjavik city centre, this eco-certified hostel is beside the geothermally heated Laugardalslaug Swimming Pool. Room was clean, check-in smooth and autonomous, were able to leave baggage for a great price for a week

Central Reykjavik is 10 minutes’ walk from this hostel, which is set on the University of Iceland’s campus. It offers a communal kitchen and free WiFi in common areas. This was the best hostel I've visited. The common kitchen was amazing and the room has everything you will ever need.

Situated in Reykjavík, 2.8 km from Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach, Hostel B47 features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. -I stayed for few days in this hostel, my room was clean and quiet. Plugs are close to each bed which makes it very handy, there is also sink in room and small lamps. - Bathroom had shower gel and hairdryer which was handy as I forgot to take those 2 with me. -There were safe locker boxes outside where you set your code and you can store valuables (they are for small items only, like my camera fitted in there and could put few more things, but not like a bag/backpack, they are in common area you can access it 24/7) and there is also place where you can store your luggage when you arrive early or want to leave it after check out. Staff is coming with you when you put and pick your stuff from storage room (I was shocked at first as in most of hotels I've been they would just hand me keys/code, but it makes it much more safe for your luggage, this is operated by staff, so only in staff working hours to use). - Location is good, it's just around corner from Hallgrímskirkja church (which is great spot to walk down the street and explore all center from there) and around 10-15 mins to main bus station, there are also few bus stop for tours and shuttles around as well (closest 11 and 9 I think, around 5 mins away). Also around 5 mins away there is mini supermarket (10-11) which is opened 24/7 which is very handy if you plan to go on all day tours and everything is closed when you are back. - There are few fridges and sinks and sofa with table in area open 24/7, there is also kitchen with cooking area and table, but it's closed for the night, but you have pans, hobs, oven, microvawe, etc there. - Everything works on codes, room entry and main door entry are for codes, so you don't need to carry key or card with you.

Set just 250 meters from Laugarvegur shopping street, this central Reykjavik hostel offers guest rooms and dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Harpa Concert Hall is 1 km away. Very cool decor, good security, big dorms are compartmentalized so they don't feel so big halls. Big lockers available by the beds. Can't ask for better location!

Staff was super helpful and nice, kitchen is well equiped, overall a convenient and nice play to stay, was a true pleasure.

The staffs were very hardworking and even if they were busy with other jobs (such as cleaning) they responded to stayers’ problems with great energy
