I have stayed at many backpacker hostels when traveling alone before this but none of them gave the same vibe as Rainer's place. I felt extremely calm and safe staying at his place. The homestay is beautiful, clean, warm, and equipped with everything we need (including converter, padlock, numerous charging points etc). It also has a great view and I enjoy looking at the scenery through the big window in the living room. I also love that they have female-only rooms and big bathrooms. I think people tend to just naturally mingle with each other under the comfortable atmosphere in the homestay. Everyone were just so lovely and friendly. Rainer sets few simple rules which give all the guests a peace of mind. As he is staying at the same place I could easily reach out to him if I had any questions. He will give a clear guidance once you make the booking and that basically will answer all the questions you may have about his place. Few quick pointers that may help: 1) Transport: There is a bus stop just 2min walking distance from the homestay and the bus never failed to arrive on time (helpful tips: use SBB apps to monitor the time schedule). The bus comes twice in an hour and takes around 18mins to town. 2) Early check in: As I reached Lucerne early in the morning Rainer allowed me to leave my luggage at the homestay before the check-in time 3) Breakfast/ Food: Simple breakfast (instant noodles, bread, cereals) with additional charges are provided, all prices are specified on the menu and you could just make your own payment using the credit card machine in the kitchen. You can also buy your own ingredients and cook. The kitchen are well equipped with the cooking utensils.

This was my first European visit. This was my first hostel. Wow, I never need a hotel again. The room could not be more, Clean & and sheets, professionally cleaned & pressed I was greeted as I walked in. I was offed a towel, as it was raining. The courtesy was genuine & sincere.

The Bellpark Hostel can be found next to the Hofmatt-Bellpark Stop of bus line 1, with direct connections to Lucerne Train Station. You can take advantage of the shared kitchen and lounge, free WiFi and internet stations, and paid private parking. Nice Hostel. Near to the city and attraction places. Staffs were awesome and super helpful. They were willingly called the airlines for luggage delivery arrangement . They entertained us politely and very kind. Great stay and great staffs. This modern hostel is situated in Lucerne, 2 km away from the train station and the city centre. It offers a cosy lounge with TV and a library with reading corner. Guests receive a free public transport ticket for the duration of their stay upon check-in. Bathrooms, showers and Room very Clean, good breakfast, all areas very organized and clean. Bus station really close to the hotel and city center.
