The family-friendly Backpackers Villa in Interlaken, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, offers simple yet stylish rooms that are individually decorated. Bed was proper and property is clean. Close to main station and got the Alps view outside my window and dining area. On top of that, they served quite decent FREE BREAKFAST.

Youth Hostel Interlaken ligger vid tågstationen Interlaken Ost, mellan sjöarna Brienz och Thun. Här erbjuds gratis Wi-Fi, en restaurang och snackbar. Everything was great! Very nice atmosphere, felt very comfortable and the staff are super friendly, room was clean and spacious. Would surely recommend to others.

Set in a traditional Swiss chalet, Lake Lodge Hostel is located directly at Lake Brienz, and offers a free private beach, a garden with outdoor furnishings, and views of the Alpine landscape. Great location. You will have a wonderful view of sea or mountain. You can heat your food and get boiled water or coffee. That is nice. I will choose it next time if they have better mattresses.

Bärghuus Axalp har ett avskilt läge 1 400 meter över havet och erbjuder direkt tillgång till skidbackarna. Rummen har gratis WiFi och trämöbler. Peter is an amazing host that welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. The location is incredibly stunning!! The room is large with a private bathroom and each room has their own specific kitchen supplies. Everything is well labeled and organized. It was so much more than we could’ve imagined and at the price in that area, it’s a steal! Thank you Peter for your kindness!

Youth Hostel Brienz ligger vid Brienzsjön, en naturskön 15-minuterspromenad från Brienz tågstation. Vandrarhemmet serverar frukostbuffé, lunch och middag på terrassen med utsikt över sjön. The staff was really friendly and kind and overall the whole atmosphere in the hostel was nice and calm. I loved the location as you can enter the lake right away when you step out of the hostel and also it’s in walkable distance to the train station. Even though the room where I stayed was the biggest one, everyone was respectful, quiet and helpful if needed, so I didn’t mind. I felt really comfortable in this hostel, it was like a second home. The breakfast was also really good. :)
