Young Backpackers Homestay is by far the best hostel I have stayed in. Sgt Reiner is an absolute legend and a phenomenal host, wonderful location, great craic and spotless clean pretty much a 5 star hotel. 100% staying here again at some point definitely recommended.

I loved this place, it feels like home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is clean, the hotel has two kitchens and a nice shared lounge with very beautiful design, there is enough place for everyone to sit and relax. There are many toilets and they are very clean. The room is comfortable and has a balcony, the lockers are inside the room which is good. The hotel has a great location which is very close to Lake Lucerne, and not far from Lucerne station.

All amenities were good. Value for money. Nice little place. Although it is not of a big concern, the bathroom was a little crooked. Reachable in just 10 mins from the train station. Well maintained. Keep it up!

I originally booked a bed in a 10 people dormitory, but someone was smoking in the room while I just arrived in. I reported to the staff and they changed another room for me. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Plus, although it's not right at the city centre, a bus pass is included in the booking.
