The facilities were excellent. The showers were the best I had in all of NZ. Staff is helpful. Garbage and recycling on site. Enormous kitchens, dining tables indoors and out. Situated in Riverton, Riverton Holiday Park features a garden and barbecue. The property is only a 10-minute walk from Taramea Bay. The manager was very helpful and let me park my rental car right beside the cabin. Which was great because each day I went out I had to load up and then unpack the car with equipment.

Located beside the river, where guests can go fishing, kayaking and swimming, Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park offers barbecue facilities and a children's playground. Freedom to come and go as I pleased. Camp kitchen was excellent everything was available didn't have to use any of my own gear utensils etc, Great place to camp for safety and convenience. Thankyou

Mountains Edge Cabins is located in Southland's Blackmount district in the picturesque village of Monowai. The property is located betwenn Lake Manapouri and Lake Monowai, south of Te Anau. Merrill was super accommodating! The huts were comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The shared kitchen and bathroom was tidy and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would both return in a heartbeat! Great launching pad to go and check out hikes in the surrounding area.
